Wendy has a wealth of experience in education having worked as a Secondary school leader, Senior LA Adviser and 6 years as an Ofsted Inspector. She is the Lead UK trainer for Professor John Hattie's Visible Learning programme with Osiris Educational and Corwin, working with schools nationally and internationally. She also provides bespoke training and SIP consultancy working extensively with Head teachers as a School Improvement Partner, training teachers, leaders and ECTs in all phases across the UK and in Europe. Catherine works across the country to support maintained schools and Academy Trusts to enhance the teaching, learning and assessment understanding of staff, and develop the English curriculum and whole school offer. She is a Moderation Manger and end of Key Stage 2 external moderator, as well as supporting the moderation process for all year groups. Having led Primary English across the UK, Spain and Dubai, and with a career in education spanning over 16 years, Laura is an experienced practitioner and subject specialist. Passionate about inspiring and supporting educators in cultivating reading and writing experiences which are inclusive and ambitious, Laura has presented at a number of conferences and works with a range of educational organisations. She is a member of the Opening Doors team, supporting schools in creating a quality English curriculum, rooted in providing inclusive learning experiences and promoting equity and excellence for all. Rebecca leads the English team for Babcock LDP which comprises a team of Primary English advisers and a secondary English specialist. The team offers a wide range of training, consultancy and publication Rebecca is a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Children’s Language and Literature with 30 years’ experience in education as a teacher and an adviser. She is also an accredited KS2 moderator and is currently moderation manager for two Local Authorities. Rebecca has worked as an adviser in London and Devon. She was heavily involved in the pilot phase of the National Literacy Strategy including writing some of the national training materials. With Babcock LDP, Rebecca’s team have developed some extremely popular and well respected publications, most notably No Nonsense Spelling, Grammar and Literacy. Rebecca is a Primary English Adviser with Babcock LDP, having joined the team in 2016 after over eighteen years’ experience of teaching in Key Stages 2 and 3. She has worked as a Leading Literacy Teacher for Bath & North East Somerset, an Advanced Skills Teacher for Somerset, was Head of English and Assistant Headteacher at a middle school, alongside her class teaching.
